Oh happy morning! We turn off the AC in the living room at night and it gets kind of stuffy by morning. It's no big deal because we just crank up the AC and it's cool in 5 minutes. But this morning when I stepped out onto the balcony for my morning weather check it was cooler outside than it was in the apartment!!

Every other morning for the last two months, with the exception of the weekend the typhoon came through, when I've stepped outside I've been hit with a wall of humid, warm air, even at 4:30 am. Now, here it is, the beginning of October and the highs are only going to be in the mid 80's this coming week. I may start pulling out my shirts with sleeves. So far I've been teaching in sleeveless dresses pretty much every day. I know! Me, teaching in a dress!

We're going out of town for lunch with some friends and I may actually wear capris instead of shorts just for some variety. We're going back to the Hakka restaurant Pearl took us to (see the post from 8/30). We're hoping to do some shopping as well. Gift shopping is a little thin around the city. This is not a tourist destination so it's hard to find even postcards. I did manage to buy a magnet for the fridge when we went to Liuqiu Island last weekend just so we could remember what the name of the place was.
