This morning's bike route is my new favorite. We found a road along the coast, north out of the city. There were some nice hills, monkeys along the way, and spectacular views of the ocean.

Here are a couple of the monkeys. Lee said they had a look about them that reminded him of thugs from the streets, not like the nice "tourist" monkeys from Monkey Mountain. They looked the same to me.

This is the back side of Monkey Mountain where, presumably, the monkeys came from. Our bike route skirted the south end of the mountain and climbed along the edge that borders the ocean.

The route took us up in elevation pretty quickly so we had a really nice view back towards the mouth of the harbor. There were so many ships waiting to come in it looked like pictures of the invasion of Normandy.
