This evening we went out to dinner with a group of friends to celebrate some birthdays. We gathered at an expat bar and ate delicious, bad-for-you food, drank some lovely drinks and shared some cake.

Who knew Taiwan would have so many choices in hard cider. They have both apple and pear.

Lee said he didn't think I'd ever had a shot before, which may be true. I was ridiculed for sipping it.

I had the pulled pork sandwich. Not bad.

Lee had the pizza with pulled pork and macaroni and cheese. Heart attack on a plate.

This is Lee with our friend Lech. It's his 60th birthday. He loves to take photos. It was a wonderful evening and an excellent start to the weekend.
